After looking to introduce CCTV to our business and doing a search on the internet it was mind blowing the amount of different types of cameras and systems that are available.
So we decided to get a few quotations and compare companies costs and recommendations.
We had already received a site survey and a quotation from one company when we were recommended by an employee about Unison, we gave Unison a call and arranged for a pre-quote site survey.
On Survey day Matt arrived on site at the time agreed and after an initial conversation we took a stroll around the site and we knew straight away that Matts approach was totally different to the previous companies and we instantly felt he knew what he was talking about. We asked questions from the limited knowledge that we had gained from the other companies and his answers filled us with confidence and didn’t try and baffle us with a sales patter.
Unisons quote was received and by the end of the day the order was placed due to the confidence that we gained from Matt and the competitive quote.
On Install day the engineers carried the professionalism along with them and even though they had to run cables around the site the system was it was clear that this is a company who take pride in their workmanship and left the site in a clean and safe manner. By the end of the second day all cameras were up and running and the quality of the footage is excellent and also allows us remote access.
I would not hesitate recommending Unison based on my experience.

Having recently been appointed Headteacher at Stuart Bathurst High School, one area of immediate concern I had, was the security of the school site and how easy it would be for anyone to gain access to the buildings at any time of day. The main school car park was also exposed to the general public and we had encountered problems where our students had been approached at our playground gates. Because of this, I appointed Unison Integrated Technology, having seen their previous work at a local high school and also having received excellent recommendations. Unison were able to provide fully automated motorised gates and secure fencing to the perimeter of the car park, increasing the security of the school’s boundary. Their engineers were very professional, polite and most importantly, accommodating to the needs of a busy high school. They also installed the latest locks to our external doors using magnetic locking technology as well as other types of locking systems. This made them only accessible to members of staff and students at certain times of the day. Previously, we had issues where students were unsupervised in corridors during break and lunchtimes resulting in behavioural incidents. The new locking system allows us to monitor access to the building during these times, and therefore reducing the number of incidents.
Most importantly, this technology allowed us to perform an improved Lockdown Procedure, something which all schools need to be able to do in the event of an emergency, where the school is required to be secure from intruders. Recently, we had to carry out this procedure as someone did gain access to the school site as the result of a police chase in a neighbouring area. We were able to secure the building very quickly and the magnetic locking system worked faultlessly. Following the incident, the police and parents commended how well this procedure was carried out and building security and we only plan to increase this to other areas of the school. We would have no hesitation using Unison Integrated Technology for future projects.

After deciding on the need for a CCTV system, we sought multiple quotes and advice but stopped the search after a superb consultation with Matt at Unison; there was no pushing, no over-sell and nothing added to the final package that wasn't entirely necessary to our needs. In addition, the price was both fair and reasonable and came out much lower than many rival companies.
Unison supplied us cameras (including a custom designed and coloured post for an outdoor area) and microphones in all the right locations, minimising the cost by intelligent placement - the system is perfect for our current needs but remains future proofed.

Unison upgraded our CCTV system a while ago; the job was completed efficiently and on time, due to the previous experience we decided to ask Unison (and alternative companies) to advise us and quote for a solution to upgrade and extend our current door access system.
Once again Unison delivered – The quote was very competitive, current solutions / options were recommended and they also accommodated working to fit in with the School working environment by offering to carry out the install and commissioning over a weekend.
Yet again the work was completed on schedule, the site was left clean and tidy with a fully functional updated Door Access system.

When we needed to replace our existing CCTV system – my heart filled with dread! We have had poor experiences with companies previously but, we need not have worried. Being a first time buyer of CCTV equipment was a pretty daunting task, we had a rather difficult yard and the first few companies were giving me a price which would involve huge amounts of groundworks. I had seen Unison working at a major client of ours and asked if I could have the contact details of whom had installed their CCTV. I contacted Matt, and he turned up on time which was a first, Matt was a pleasure to deal with, no hard sell, various options given of what he could do for us, and more importantly what would be sensible to do.
The spec sounded great but I was quite concerned with what to expect from the quotation, but when this arrived it certainly was amongst the ball park, and this also meant that we did not need to do huge amounts of ground works.
We placed the order and the work went through very smoothly and by the end of the week all cameras were up and running and the quality of the footage is excellent and allows us remote access. We continue to recive excellent back up and support when we have a few questions and I cannot recommend Matt and his team enough, professional through and through.

Our Schools aging CCTV system was in need of a total update, already having a few quotes – not only to compare costs but also to compare the approach various companies take whist carrying out a pre-quote site survey. Unison were asked to quote – Matt (Unison) arrived onsite punctually as pre-arranged .They say first impression last… and its true , within fifteen minutes of surveying our site with Matt(Unison) it was apparent that this is a company who take pride in their workmanship .
No Pushy sales waffle – I’m not a CCTV engineer but I do have an engineering background , Matt suggested certain aspects relevant to what I had said the Schools requirements were which in turn made his knowledge and professionalism stand out above the other companies who had already visited site and quoted. Unisons quote was as competitive as any other quote obtained – in fact due to Matt’s recommendations we ended up with a higher specification system, professionally and efficiently installed, completed clean and tidy considering the whole site had to be re cabled and up and running on a certain date as agreed.

BMG are working on a very complex project for one of our clients which involves some very clever bits of kit and knowledge to help in making this national study a success. Unison have supported this study and have been around the country to install, setup and are also assisting with the on going analytics on the footage that is being captured.
The install and setups are very different from the standard jobs any CCTV installing company would usually take, the areas of install and configurations are very challenging. However, its all been very steady and surprisingly stress-free given the support and peace of mind we have received from Unisons assurances.
Specific mention of the Boss man himself (Matt), who is a great personality to work with, professional and knows his business A-Z. Matt works very closely with his team and keeps a very close eye on all his projects and most importantly does not think twice to get his own hands dirty when needed to support his team and get the job done!

Unison have successfully installed new electric pedestrian and vehicle gates with fencing for our school, Matt was a pleasure to work with and was quick to deal with any queries during the installation and his team did an excellent job. I would like to thank Unison for installing a top of the range CCTV system into our factory in Aston, Birmingham.
I first came across your details on the internet and phoned for a site visit. I was fitted in to the schedule within a few days and the quotes were
sent on the same day with a range of different ideas. Within the site visit everything was explained from the correct position of cameras to the quality
of camera Unison use and a demonstration to show what the cameras were like
After confirming Unison were going to complete the work, they started a week later and upon arrival everything was explained once again.
The engineers did a fantastic job of covering the factory and ensuring there is as minimal blind spots as possible, as well as being very polite.
The job was finished within the 3 day period which was originally advised including checking everything was functioning correctly, setting up the DVR as well as setting up mobile viewing.
Upon completion we decided the monitor was too small and it was swapped with no problems. Once we were happy, Matt came out and gave a tutorial of how to use the software and answering any questions we had. We are very pleased with the system and are hoping it will improve our business

As a person with no in depth knowledge of site access and CCTV equipment I did the usual thing and went out to source three or more independent suppliers when the requirement arose.
What was immediately obvious when all quotes were received was my naivety on the subject wasn’t taken advantage of by Unison during the quoting process. Matthew supplied a very competitive quotation and a package that suited our needs on site.
The installation process was seamless. All RAMS were provided up front. The install team adhered to all site H&S rules for the duration, the work was carried out to a professional standard. As well as this they had no problem or query when a spanner was thrown in the works by us and we changed locations or details from what we had agreed.
The project was completed ahead of the agreed deadline and comments from within the business have all been positive.
I would have no hesitation in recommending Unison as a supplier of access and CCTV equipment.

Matt, you and the team at Unison cctv were recommended to the school via another cctv specialist who was unable to take on our job and complete within the available time frame.
